What does ~N min mean?

When the source gives no total time, we add up the times in its steps. When it does, we show its number without the ~. We never change a source's cooking times.

Where do the recipes come from?

All are published recipes. First the makers' own (Nongshim Noodle Foodle, the Buldak blog, Nongshim Japan), then articles on TV recipes and home cooks on 10000recipe. Steps are rewritten in our words; amounts are facts and kept. All 50 sources were re-opened on 2026-11-08.

FAQ

What can I add to instant ramen to make it better?

Start with what's in your fridge. Egg and scallion suit Shin Ramyun (fluffy egg Shin), mayo and cheese suit Buldak, tofu suits Neoguri or Yeul Ramen. Pick your ramen and fridge above and you get one recipe with its source.

How much water for Shin Ramyun?

The pack says 550 ml of water, then 4 min 30 s after the noodles and soup go in (pack text quoted by The Fact; Nongshim Japan's recipes also use 550 ml). When a recipe uses other water, the card's errata slip shows the corrected number.

How much water for Buldak?

We couldn't find Samyang's water amount or boil time on an official page, so we don't guess: it says 'official figure not confirmed'. The official Buldak blog only says to boil as the pack says and keep about 8 spoons of water. Follow the back of your pack.

How do I make chapaguri?

Nongshim's own recipe: Boil the Chapagetti and Neoguri noodles with the flakes for 4 min 30 s. Drain, keeping 2 ladles (100 ml) of the cooking water. Mix in the Chapagetti powder, 6 g of the Neoguri powder, the olive seasoning oil and the saved water. Stir-fry over the heat for 1 minute. About 8 minutes.

Where do the recipes come from?

All 50 are published: 25 from Nongshim and Samyang, home cooks on 10000recipe, and articles on TV and YouTube recipes. Steps are in our words, each card links its source, and all were re-checked on 2026-11-08.

What does ~N min mean?

The source gives no total time, so we estimated it from the times in its steps. When the source gives a total, we show it as is.

Which recipes use raw egg?

Two: Shin Ramyun Carbonara and Carbo Buldak Ramen Bowl. Both carry a 'Contains raw egg yolk' label.
