Split with family
Add names and pick who takes each room. Everyone gets their minutes left and their own list for today.
How it's counted
Days left · minutes a day · today's list · the sheets
Days left counts today and your last day. On Dec 22 with guests on the 24th (done by the 23rd), that's 2 days. Once the date has passed, it's 0.
Minutes a day is the minutes left divided by the days left, rounded up. 850 minutes over 51 days is 17 minutes a day.
Today's list walks the checklist in order and takes every task that still fits in your minutes for the day. If none fits, it takes the first task alone.
The finish date is when you'd be done at the minutes a day you picked. If that's after your date, we also show the minutes a day it would take to make it.
Room percentages count finished minutes and round down, so 100% means every task in that room is done. The sheets in the picture lift by the same number.
The task list and the minutes are plusbeauxjours' rough estimates. There is no official standard for cleaning times, and every home is different.
The dates
Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov 26, 2026 and Christmas is Friday, Dec 25 (OPM federal holidays), so the presets end the day before: Nov 25, Dec 23 for Christmas Eve guests, and Dec 31 for New Year's. Any other date can be picked up to 120 days from today.
What's in the link
Your home size, date, minutes a day, checked tasks, names and rooms all live after the # in the address. Browsers never send that part to a server (RFC 3986 §3.5), so it never reaches ours. A copy stays in this browser's storage so the list is still here when you come back.

Questions
- Where do I start?
Start with today's list, top to bottom. There's no single right order; the list goes room by room and fits short tasks into your minutes for the day.
- How long does a deep clean take?
Our rough estimates add up to about 400 minutes for a studio, 595 for a 2BR and 850 for a house. They're our own planning numbers, not a standard, and every home is different.
- Can I mix bleach and vinegar or toilet cleaner?
No. Never mix bleach with other cleaners. With acids such as vinegar, toilet bowl or drain cleaners it gives off chlorine gas (Washington State Department of Health, CDC). Open windows while you use bleach indoors.
- Should I use bleach on mold?
Scrub mold off hard surfaces with detergent and water, then dry completely. The EPA does not recommend bleach as a routine mold fix. Dry wet areas within 24–48 hours to prevent mold.
- What can I clean without products?
Dust with a damp cloth, vacuum carpets and fabric furniture, and dry wet areas (EPA). Tap ⓘ next to a task to see which ones need no cleaner.
- How do I split it with family?
In “Split with family”, add names, pick who takes each room, then tap “Send to family”. Whoever opens the link taps their name under “Who are you?” to see only their rooms.
- Is anything uploaded?
No. Everything, names included, lives after the # in the link, which browsers never send to a server (RFC 3986 §3.5). Analytics only sees the page address without that part.
